I’m so sick of hearing about people being Shia Muslim/Sunni Muslim. These are useless divisions that have come about for only political reasons that occured hundreds of years ago. We have to stop identifying ourselves as either or. We all love the same Prophet (saw) and we have to realize that he did not have nor advocate such labelings. He (pbuh) was simply a Muslim. That being said, no one on the face of this Earth has the right to insult his companions (RA) either. I don’t care who you are. The sooner we stop referring to ourselves as part of a certain sect, the quicker we’ll unify as a nation. One nation. Insha’Allah.
